Local Vervain, ahhhhhhhhhh
Bitter and sweet
A spiritual guide
As a flower essence it brings a sweet calm, connects your life to it's higher purpose, can help heal old illness
As a tincture for the overworker, over thinker, calms anger, uplifting, path to patience, helps many infections, aids the digestion..
adrenal overwork, menopause....
I am feeling this plant may be useful to help build the adrenals. For, when we have been stressed over a long time, the sympathetic system needs to slow down, stop overreacting, literally, after so long being vexed. By helping to slow the stress response down, perhaps the adrenaline and cortisol production will slow down, allowing the body to just be and not be in terror mode, worried all the time that something is about to go wrong. I'm feeling the type that feels that fear is always near by, and the type cannot truly let go and relax to the point of being worried about being worried.
Why does bitter calm anger?
Liver
Its moving, eliminating
Bitters move the digestion activating the liver, just the bitter taste alone triggers the digestion to wake up! When the body cannot eliminate, all types of "things" get stuck. When our digestion is stuck, so is our emotional self, after all the heart and mind are in the body! By enabling the emotional self more movement and freedom it's free to explore and attain more levels of calm, happiness, and spiritual well being.
